Vaccinations

We make it easy for everyone in your family to stay up to date with the latest immunizations! From the most comprehensive flu vaccine to shingles and pneumonia, getting vaccinated is an important part of staying healthy throughout the year and doing your part to reduce the spread of preventable illnesses.

Flu

  • The primary purpose of the annual flu shot is to reduce the risk of getting the flu and to minimize the severity of symptoms if you do contract the virus.
  • Widespread vaccination can help protect vulnerable populations, such as infants, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems, by reducing the overall spread of the virus.
  • It's best to get vaccinated before flu season starts, ideally by the end of October, but getting vaccinated later can still be beneficial.
  • Administered at our Shavertown pharmacy location.

Pneumonia

  • The pneumonia vaccine is designed to protect against pneumococcal disease, which includes pneumonia, meningitis, and other bloodstream infections.
