Medicare Part D Enrollment Assistance
Need help enrolling in a Medicare Part D Plan? Penny Higgins-James, our office manager, is licensed in Pennsylvania for health insurance and can guide you through the process of signing up for a plan.
Part D plans are available to anyone entitled to Medicare Part A or enrolled in Medicare Part B. Enrollment is voluntary and can be done during the Initial Enrollment Period when you first become eligible for Medicare or during the Annual Enrollment Period which is October 15 to December 7 of each year. Each Part D plan has its own list of covered drugs (formulary) and includes both generic and brand-name drugs. The formulary can vary from plan to plan, as each plan places drugs into different tiers that have different costs. Generally, drugs on lower tiers are less expensive.
